About Jasmine
Based in Singapore. I first picked up a camera at nineteen in an elective photography module. I was drawn to how light could be shaped and to the craft of making a beautiful image. I've been honing it ever since.
Photography stayed a quiet interest for years while I worked in corporate life, dance and spent time in media. In hindsight, those three worlds taught me more about photographing people. How to read a room. How to guide a pose so the session feels comfortable. How to draw presence out of someone without asking them to fake it.
I turned to portraiture in 2022 and have spent the years since photographing executives, founders, doctors and business leaders. I'm grateful too to have crossed paths with portrait masters who helped shape me into who I am today.
I enjoy making portraits that draw out the best in people and build meaningful connections.
On quieter days I'm out on photo walks, chasing the next thing to learn. It's the part of this I can't switch off and probably says more than I could about why I do this.
